Branding

Polygent supports lightweight white-labeling so your team can show its own logo and brand color in the sidebar without losing the Polygent identity.

What you can customize

  • Header logo — an image displayed at the top of the sidebar. The Polygent </> logo always remains in the sidebar footer, regardless of branding.
  • Main color — a single hex color that replaces the default purple accent across buttons, active navigation, charts, and badges.

When no header logo is uploaded, the sidebar starts directly at the Inbox — there is no empty header row.

Who can change branding

Branding is configured by an administrator on the System (Settings) page. The configured branding is then visible to every user, including on the login page (before sign-in).

Configure branding

  1. Sign in as an admin and open Settings → Branding.
  2. Upload a logo: click Upload logo, pick a PNG, JPG, GIF, or WebP file (≤ 2 MB). The logo appears in the sidebar header immediately. (SVG is not accepted, since SVGs can carry executable scripts.)
  3. Replace or remove: click Replace logo to swap, or Remove to clear it. Removing the logo reverts the sidebar to "no header / start at Inbox".
  4. Set the main color: use the color swatch or paste a hex value (e.g. #2563eb), then click Save Settings. The accent updates app-wide.
  5. Reset to default: click Reset to default to restore the original purple accent.

Light & dark theme

Each user can switch between a dark and a light theme. Polygent uses dark mode by default.

  • Toggle the theme with the sun/moon button in the sidebar footer (next to the text-direction toggle).
  • Your choice is saved on this device and restored automatically the next time you open Polygent.
  • The theme is a personal preference — it does not affect other users and is independent of the admin-configured logo and main color.

Notes

  • Logo uploads are immediate — they are not part of the Save Settings button.
  • The main color change is part of Save Settings and only applies after saving.
  • Only the app accent is rebranded. The Polygent footer mark intentionally stays purple as a sign of Polygent identity.
